Abstract :
We present the first wavelength-dependent measurements of the nonlinear figure of merit (FOM) in a highly nonlinear As2Se3 chalcogenide fiber, from 1415 nm to 1550 nm. We find that the FOM decreases to below one at 1415 nm.
