Abstract :
Computed tomography (CT) image has been widely used for liver disease diagnosis. Computer-assisted image processing can help doctors improving their diagnosis. The liver segmentation from CT image is the most basic and important technology for the following process. This paper discussed the property of local entropy, and proposed a liver CT image segmentation method, that can extracts the edge of the liver CT image. Then use the morphological method to detect the objects regions. The algorithm and method can effectively get the Liver image and the cancer location of the liver.
