Abstract :
The definition of the power in three-phase systems under nonsinusoidal conditions is becoming more and more difficult problem. Some theories have already been proposed to face this problem, but the proposed solutions are not completely satisfactory, in particular when unsymmetrical and unbalanced systems are concerned. The mathematical model of a polyphase unsymmetrical multiport network is given in the paper. The power components of this system are obtained by using this multi-terminal model. Additionally, mathematical models and power components of the sequence network are given in the case that the nonlinear multiport is symmetrical
