Abstract
A low-cost, high gain and broadband 60 GHz Fermi tapered slot antenna with a sin-corrugation is presented. The novel corrugation design parameters provide a high flexibility to enhance antenna characteristics. The proposed antenna provides a gain of 18.8 dB at 60 GHz, a high total radiation efficiency of ~90%, and an impedance bandwidth covers the 50-70 GHz band. With these features, this antenna is suitable for unlicensed millimeter-wave ISM-band, wireless communications, and imaging applications.
