Preface

Electron devices based upon both evolutionary nanotechnology and revolutionary nanotechnology have been investigated extensively, and they have extended the horizon of traditional microelectronic devices to cover new horizons such as sensors and actuator, photonic devices and bio-nano devices and beyond. This year the IMFEDK has collected papers in the areas of silicon devices and circuits, new applications of technology and processes, new functional devices, tests and characterizations, modeling and simulations, and a variety of compound semiconductor devices and technology researches.
