Abstract :
Analysis is presented on a phased-locked linearizer employing delay-difference module in LFMCW radar. As distinct from the former researches, this paper emphasizes particularly on the influence of nonlinear effects of the delay-difference module. By establishing nonlinear models, some results on transient characteristics such as noise performance, capture process and so on, are obtained. These results complement the deficiency of the linear method.
