Abstract :
Based on cubic splines, an image deformation method using Moving Least Squares is proposed in this paper. According to shape information or deformation requirement, key points are set to create control curves. The curves are moved to new positions to guide image warping. The transformation functions are deduced to compute affine, similarity and rigid deformations, by which we can obtain various image deformation results. Experimental results show that our method can be used to describe outline and gain realistic deformation for complex image warping.
