  • Abstract
    For piezoelectric motor operation, a high frequency power driver with high voltage is required. Optimum operation is possible if the supplied current is sinusoidal. In this case a resonant power converter must be used. This paper presents a design and experimental results of a DC-AC resonant power converter system. The equivalent circuit for the converter and for the piezoelectric motor is used to simulate converter operation and to determine its optimal parameters. The experimental and simulated results are presented
