Abstract :
The flexible architecture of modern microcontrollers gives the opportunity to develop an intelligent motor with minimal hardware investment. The intelligent motor has the complete hardware on its case, i.e., the microcontroller, the memory management, the voltage source inverter, the current and position measurement units and the incremental encoder. The servodrive has a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a three phase stator winding. In this paper, a completely digital cascaded position control for this servodrive is presented. Results of the cascaded position control and fuzzy control investigations of the servodrive are shown
