Abstract :
The Organizational Systems and Technology Track is one of the largest tracks at HICSS. It is also the most eclectic, ranging from data warehousing and BI, to research methods and approaches, to social issues in organizations. Much like the information systems field, there are new topics this year, such as business process management. Many of the topics relate closely to what is currently "hot" in the world of practice BI, IT governance, and RFID. Others like project management and social issues in organizations have a timeless value. The organizational systems and technology minitrack contains papers that do not fit neatly into any of the other minitracks. Some of the topics of these papers may emerge in the future to be a minitrack.
