Abstract :
This paper reviews the state of the art of the spiral antenna used in RFID, and discusses design approaches and techniques for its performance enhancement, size reduction, as well as compatibility with operating environments, by using techniques including the slow-wave antenna and the magneto-dielectric antenna.
