Adaptive Conformal Antenna Design Using DSP

As the development of science and technology, the use of conformal antennas for vehicle applications has been increasing rapidly. Coupled with the trend is the trend toward adaptive conformal antenna design. For in actual conditions, there always exist many various factors to change the antenna performance. In this paper, we propose a novel method of adaptive conformal antenna designs to improve the performance. The design makes full use of DSP to meet the requirements. It consists of conformal antenna design, RF switch circuit design and DSP sequencer design. The design is proved to be effective in practice.
