  • Abstract
Wire cutting metal folded monopole antenna fed by mini-coaxial cable back with a thin printed ground-line for bandwidth enhancement is proposed and experimentally investigated. Both impedance and radiation characteristics of this antenna are studied. Experimental results indicate that a return loss les -8 dB bandwidth cover CDMA (824-894 MHz), GSM (880-960 MHz), DCS (1710-1880 MHz), PCS (1850-1990 MHz) and WCDMA (1920-2170 MHz) bands is demonstrated. Experimental results are shown to verify the validity of theoretical work.
