  • Abstract
Wechat, which can make people quick to send voice message, video, pictures and text by phone, now has been improving popular for the LBS function "searching for the nearby". But we still unknown what reasons make it outstanding from the other similar Apps, and whether anyone like the LBS to be applied to Message Service. According to Group theory and Diffusion of Innovation, we hypothesis Observability, which can be segmented to Demonstrability and Visibility, is the important factors to determine the acceptance of Location Based Service in Message Service. A study conducted to test this model has largely confirmed our expectations: Both Demonstrability and Visibility are the factors which affect acceptance.
