  • Abstract
    Traditional algorithms for OFDM signal synchronization acquisition usually can work under low SNR. A data aided scheme is proposed for the troublesome HF channels in this paper. Based on joint time and frequency-offset estimation, a reliable signal detection scheme for synchronization is obtained by using an m-sequence. Theoretic analysis and simulations show that this scheme works well in low SNR in HF communications.
