Abstract :
In order to overcome the problems such as a large quantity of calculation, low accuracy, lack of a reasonable theoretical proof existing in blood vessel 3D digital simulation methods nowadays, to realize the 3D digital simulation of the blood vessel much better, and also to improve the simulation precision, an improved simulation method is presented in this paper. First of all, the radius of the blood vessel is got by using Matlab to transform image into binary digit and establishing the mathematical model by superimposing 2D images. Secondly, every 2D image´s centre of the circle which is the biggest inscribed circle are obtained by using the radius and the Bresenham arithmetic. Thirdly, the space curve of the middle axis line is established by using polynomial fitting. Finally the blood vessel´s 3D image is successfully shown in Matlab. The simulation experiment by Matlab proves that: The improved simulation method is more efficient and reliable. It reduces the error of transforming the real slice edge into digital code effectively, and the simulation accuracy is improved greatly.
