  • Abstract
    By solving the Riccati equation, reflection coefficient and transmission coefficient of inhomogeneous moisture profile are obtained in this paper, substituting them for the corresponding coefficients of homogeneous profile in BSM, the range of BSM is extended and BSM can be used to calculate the scattering coefficient and emissivity of soil with inhomogeneous moisture profile. Simulation result shows that the value of scattering coefficient and emissivity mainly lie on the moisture of soil surface, moisture of deep soil has little effect on values.
