Abstract
The authors present a model for the propagation of electromagnetic waves at optical frequencies, through atmospheric channels, with different turbulence levels. Using this model, the variation of the power at the receiver end, the rise time of the channel and amplitude fluctuation have been computed with respect to beamwidth channel thickness, and degree of turbulence
