Abstract :
This paper put forward a new embedded zero tree algorithm RMEZW. It is based on the conception of multi-threshold and needs only one zigzag scan. It concentrates the high frequency coefficients energy of wavelet image through coefficients reorganization loop. Simulation results show that RMEZW algorithm has better reconstructed image quality and higher compression ratio meanwhile the time cost is reduced.
