Abstract
Low impact development is a new management system for storm water, which designs to maintain and protect hydrological flow characteristics of the city and river basin before city construction. Thus Low Impact Development is an effective pattern to rainwater collection and utilization. This study aim at rainfall features and urban planning and construction characteristics of Tianjin, based on the idea and system of Low Impact Development to design rainwater utilization system which can meet the feature of Tianjin. Calculate research and analyze to specific measures of subsystem respectively. Sufficient and reasonable rainwater utilization of whole year in Tianjin will be realized by low power-wasting and high utilization of rainwater utilization facilities, the idea of taking storage as major and discharge as supplementary can be achieved, the aim of urban rainwater optimization and environmental sustainable development can be reached.
