Abstract
Eclipse is an IPSE developed on PCTE by Software Sciences Ltd. and collaborators. Eclipse is a range of toolsets some of which are products and some of which are still in the prototype stage. Many Eclipse toolsets address the early stages of software development and implement existing methods of analysis and design. Additionally, Eclipse has an integrated Ada development system. The author considers how easy it would be to change Eclipse from PCTE to PCTE+ and concludes that it would be a fairly straightforward process
