Abstract
Multimedia transmission in the mobile DS-CDMA (direct sequence code division multiple access) systems requires high bit rate. This requirement can be fulfilled both in the single or multicode transmission. Requirements for desired bit rate in the multimedia transmission in the mobile DS-CDMA systems are dependent of compression and line coding process.
