Abstract
As the electronics market place continues to expand into new and larger fields the need for periodic calibration increases by a similar amount. Unfortunately calibration is often viewed as an activity demanded only by quality system assessors resulting in very limited resources being made available to perform the function. This paper looks at two methods which have been employed to reduce the calibration overhead whilst at the same time maintaining similar levels of integrity
