Abstract :
In recent years quality has become a factor that increasingly governs the competitiveness of companies in global and interdependent markets. This is due to the fact that it provides double confidence: on the one hand to the clients and consumers, assuring them that the company works with a process that guarantees the quality of the product or service, and on the other, to the company itself, as it introduces an ordered and controlled system of organisation which ensures increased efficiency. Based on European directives, Spanish policy as regards industrial quality is focussed on promoting and supporting Spanish Industry in the efficient implementation of its quality systems in order that it may have easy access to recognised certification in the regulatory as well as voluntary domain
