Abstract :
Gas turbine maintenance is a very wide subject that is difficult to cover in any one presentation. This paper aims to provide a brief overview of mid-merit operation and its effect on maintenance and the benefits of performing some sort of proactive maintenance. Changes in customer expectations and turbine technology have meant that manufacturers are having to re-evaluate the way their equipment is supported. This has led to a rapid growth in long-term maintenance contracts and a greater focus on flexible maintenance practices that provide value for money
