Abstract :
This paper suggests how reconfigurable reflector antenna technology might be used to satisfy demanding future system needs. Specifically a hybrid array-fed mesh reflector system is described, which may operate in either reconfigurable shaped beam or multiple spot beam mode. The ability of the reconfigurable mesh reflector antenna to form nulls in its pattern is covered in both open-loop and closed-loop adaptive modes of operation
