Abstract :
Recent technological advances have boosted multimedia and mobile computing. The application software market has seen an increasing interest in workflow and workgroup computing. These trends lead to a desire to build complex cooperative (mobile multimedia) application software. We propose a comprehensive software model and an interrelated set of five graphical view types for the modeling of such complex cooperative software. A middle-out design methodology is proposed for coordinated use of the five view types, starting with a scenario-based view type called work scenario. A first version of a corresponding multi-view editor was developed. The paper concentrates on work scenario views and give an overview about the four other view types and the methodology
