Abstract :
Describes a submersible nitrate analyzer that has been developed in France that uses the colorimetric method. The system is based on flow injection analysis. This sytem can be used to derive vertical profiles within the water column or to derive concentration variations at a fixed place. The analyzer consists of an electronic box, an optical box, a peristaltic pump and the selection and injection valves. The equipment is capable of working in a wide range of salinities
