Abstract :
The conventional symbol synchronization of MC-CDMA receiver is based on the correlation of cyclic prefix to determine the symbol timing. In this paper, we propose a symbol synchronization which consists of 2 steps; acquisition and tracking. The acquisition step is performed by using the timing estimator and the tracking step is done by using a delay locked loop. The performance of the proposed scheme is evaluated by simulation. Results demonstrate that the proposed system outperforms the conventional one.
