Abstract
A drainage Simulating for the effect of type of urban water consumption to the combined drainage networks based on the Storm Water Management Model was established. The type and period of urban water consumption base on residential area, marketplace, school area, and guesthouse area in Kunming Chuangfang river basin and two rainfall situation (P=1a and P=3a) in different periods were introduced into the model, and their effect to the sub-catchments was simulate. The results showed that the type and peak of urban water consumption have a great effect for the drainage ability of sub-catchments in the combined drainage networks, there are 9.1% and 21.4% nodes overflow, 54.4% and 65.2% conduits occured full conduits in biggest in two rainfall situations, and the different types of area and drainage peak time have been influenced to the flow of outlet in the same rainfall condition in Kunming Chuanfang river basin and the effect of water consumption in the marketplace is a greatest. The research harvest will provide strong technical support for rebuild drainage network in Kunming or other city.
