  • Abstract
    Based on the RS and GIS, the remote sensing images of 1990, 1999 and 2009 were used as the basis of the data sources to obtain the changeable information of landscape in Nanning in 3 periods and then analyze the changing of it´s dynamic landscape structure .The results show that: during the years, from 1990 to 2009, the area of landscape components and the quantity of patches, both changed dramatically in Nanning urban area, which mainly expressed as, farmland, forestland and water region were converted into building land in high proportion. Landscape matrixes were changed, from agricultural land to construction lands. Both quality and density of landscape patches decreased by approximate 35%. Indexes did not experience many changes such as, mean shape index, average fractal dimension, Shannon diversity index and Shannon evenness index. Urban landscape showed a trend to become simplification and single.
