  • Abstract
    A method of increasing the efficiency of the spatial-harmonic magnetrons is proposed. The method is based on introducing an intentional nonhomogeneity to the cavity geometry. As calculations show, the nonhomogeneity provides coupling of both doublet components to the output load. A periodical nonhomogeneity having the period of the operating oscillation is shown to be a promising way to enhance the performance of the spatial-harmonic magnetrons.
