Abstract
In this paper, we present the EM analysis and optimization of the printed antennas integrated with their feed network for a multiband wireless mobile communications system. In selecting the antenna types applicable, much attention has been paid in taking into account both antenna radiation performance and strict design specifications. Printed cross-dipole and cross-monopole antennas providing the circular polarization have been designed and optimized for ETC and GPS operation, respectively. In integrating the antenna elements with a RF circuits different antenna feeding techniques have been numerically investigated to provide compact design and improved radiation performance.
