Abstract
Presents the optimization of the heat transfer in a low-frequency piezoelectric projector. The temperature distribution and the relative importance of the different heat paths are computed using both analytical and numerical models. The efficiency of various cooling techniques is evaluated. Measurements of an optimized projector are displayed
