Abstract
Green airport is a future trend, the sustenance of which is embodied in the all-life circle of the airport. The article analyzes the impact of an airport on the environment during its construction and operation. In light of that, it defines what is a green airport and its core constituents. Based on the idea of "airport-resource-economy-environment" and environment protection, the article puts forward a model of green airport in which the design, construction and operation of a green airport are examined one by one. The model aims at sustainable development of the airport by laying emphasis on environment protection and energy efficiency during the all-life circle of an airport.
