Abstract :
Evacuation is an important issue that all occupants should be able to evacuate to safety from large public buildings under emergency. In this paper, present an individual decision-making model based on agent technology. For this model, a computer program is developed to simulate the flow phenomenon of crowd pedestrian. Three cases have been studied where arching, clogging of pedestrians at the exit and changing exits could be observed. Simulation processes and results display that the model is very close to real movements of people.
