Abstract :
In the field of ocean acoustic tomography the author proposes an array processing for analysing the time domain response due to para-axial propagation along the channel axis. The author uses a modal description of the propagation. Broadband modal filtering is applied in order to isolate each modal contribution to the time response. Then, from a time-frequency analysis of filtering outputs the author recovers the dispersion curve of the filtered mode
