Abstract :
Sometimes being called hollow concrete or hollow lean concrete, porous concrete, which is considered as a new permeable base-course material, is a lean concrete between normal concrete and cement-bound macadam. Porous concrete permeable base has not yet been widely used. The machinery arrangement for the construction of porous concrete base, process flow, quality control standards and testing methods were studied and presented in the paper through the combination of a case study and laboratory tests. And the emphasis of the research was put upon the processing parameters and related key technologies for mixing, agitation, laying, rolling, curing in the construction of porous concrete base. The results could contribute to the construction and the more wide application of porous concrete base.
