Abstract
Lynch Communication Systems, along with other manufacturers of telephone carrier equipment, has become very conscious of the importance of power conservation. Lynch has accordingly attempted to minimize the power requirements of its latest generation of T1 equipment. This paper discusses the ways in which power consumption has been reduced in the T1 channel bank, span line repeaters, and span termination equipment.
