Abstract
An adaptive smart antenna of space-time weighting scheme based on channel estimation is proposed. The CDMA signal model and multiuser´s multipath channel model are given. The channels of resolvable paths are estimated by maximum likelihood (ML) method. Then a space-time (ST) weighted uplink receiver and a maximum-norm (MN) weighted downlink transmitter are proposed. The simulation of system using the proposed ST receiver and MN transmitter is presented. The better performances than those of the MVDR receiver and MVDR transmitter are shown.
