Abstract :
Summary form only given. This paper presents a comprehensive and integrated computer approach to evaluate line parameters, electromagnetic fields, scalar potentials and corona parameters associated with arbitrary configurations of parallel transmission lines and with any number and type of conductors. The electromagnetic fields and corona parameters can be computed at any location in the vicinity of the transmission lines. The corona impact of individual phases, circuits or lines can be evaluated separately. This approach is applicable to AC or DC lines as well as hybrid AC and DC lines and it takes into account the mutual impact of lines in the calculation
