Abstract
Industry has an obligation to consider energy conservation from two points of view, that of its own economic considerations as well as a broader consideration of its actions on the national energy programs. The use of cogeneration, reduced demand and alternative methodology all can play an important role in reducing our usage of non-renewable resources, reducing the need for added electrical generation capability and impacting on our importation demands.
