  • Abstract
    IRFPA (infrared focal plane) detector, which has low-cost, small size and non-refrigeration characteristics compared with traditional infrared detectors, has broad application prospects. However, non-uniformity issue of IRFPA detector has always been the fundamental constraint of its application, and also the current hotspot of infrared imaging studies. By analyzing actual noise characteristics of infrared image, at the view of image restoration, this paper point out specific methods of non-uniformity correction of infrared image, and selects two different image restoration methods for comparing actual effects of image restoration. Finally, point out possible research and development directions for non-uniformity correction algorithm of infrared image.
