Abstract :
In order to suppress backscattering signal and improve resolution of underwater target, 3 different amplitude modulation methods are studied. They are general amplitude modulation, Fabry-Perot amplitude modulation and dual cosine superimposed amplitude modulation. by comparing the simulation results, the dual cosine superimposed amplitude modulation gets the best effect on suppressing backscattering signal and the peak ratio of target reflection and backscattering signal is almost 1.
