Title :
Fuzzy learning based on variable structure control systems theory
Author_Institution :

Abstract :
Presents a survey of a class of learning techniques, which seek to generate the appropriate control rules to drive the plant towards the desired response based on the theory of sliding mode control and variable structure control systems. The techniques are discussed in the context of their application to robot manipulators
