  • Abstract
    Thermal analysis becomes an important tool to reflect the solidification behavior of cast irons. In this paper, wavelet filter and Support Vector Machine (SVM) are used to search six important characteristic numbers of thermal analysis in order to improve the calculating reliability and accuracy of thermal analysis. Firstly, wavelet filter is used to filter the cooling curve and cooling rate curve. Then the equations of cooling curve and cooling rate curve are established by SVM. At last, six important characteristic numbers of thermal analysis are calculated. The experiment demonstrates that using this method can obtain better performance than other method.
