Abstract

This paper presents a free-hand multimedia terminal for selling tickets. It allows the user to navigate easily through multimedia information to buy the tickets he wants, or to achieve information. The technical part of the system integrates a friendly graphic user interface, a database management graphic interface and an image processing graphic interface, comprising: voice recognition, application protocols for consulting and managing the multimedia information, image and video digital processing and remote access to databases using network protocols
