Abstract :
A novel time hopping pulse position modulation ultra-wideband impulse radio system based on Parr´s monocycle is proposed, and BER performance of multi-access in AWGN channel is analyzed. Parr´s monocycles not only conform to the FCC spectral constraints but also take on orthogonality. Theory analysis and computer simulation show multi-access interferences can be reduced greatly as different users employed different Parr´s monocycle, accordingly better result can be gained compared with the traditional TH-PPM system.
