Abstract :
This paper presents a novel binocular stereo observation system (BSOS) based on Web service, which has put forward a brand-new real world´s dynamic binocular stereo information data transmission model based on Web service. The Web service for BSOS is designed to exchange the source information and build the connections between user clients and source clients using extensible markup language (XML) and extensible stylesheet language (XSL). Users can acquire a rendered real-time dynamic 3-D world that is transmitted from a remote source client. Moreover, the whole BSOS includes remote binocular stereo video storage and remote binocular stereo video request.
