Abstract :
The paper sets up a two-dimensional mathematical model with two dimensional nonequilibrium sediment transport theory, according to the sedimentation and evolution of river bed in Miaogong Reservoir. It puts forward four passage types to generalize the topography. It employs nonstructural and irregular gird technique to divide the calculated area. Then it uses the established model to test and verify the water flow and sedimentation of the area. The verification result indicates that the measured values of water level coincides well with the calculated values of that, and flow field approximately accords with the actual situation, calculated and measured bed surface are approximately the same. It demonstrates that the sedimentation mathematical model is basically right. Meanwhile it simulates and analyzes several different programs by the mathematical model, it supplies necessary theoretical basis for Miaogong Reservoir to draw up the optimum program that can both sluicing, desilting and conserve water for beneficial use.
